My biggest gripe with this game since it's come out is there no way to communicate with people when playing coop. Never understood why there's not at the minimum TEXT CHAT in the game. I don't always want to wear a headset and voice chat. Be nice to chill, text and chug along.

The reason why the game has never gotten text chat is because of the ESRP rating fees. If there is player-to-player interaction then the game rating will require a change.
