I'd like to know as well. I play on console to get away from cheaters online, I don't want them in public matches.

Dont be so sensitive, let them play, they are not ruining gaming experience and u can always turn off the cross play, let the modders do tweaks unleass they aren't breaking game with actual cheats, infinite ammo or health

Considering it’s the modders who are actively changing aspects of the game, wouldn’t the more reasonable position be for them to play in private matches?  Just seems weird to put the issue on those simply playing the game as is, as they are the passive party in this particular situation.  Personally others modding doesn’t bother me beyond the fact that it can cause stability issues in a match, but I can see how for some modding can be seen as an unwelcome intrusion on their experience of the game.

Anything that changes the outcome of gameplay can be considered cheating. Even if it's a simple weapon swap.
You know why? Because the game wasn't made/designed with those loadouts in mind.

If people wants to play with mods, sure. But modders should be the ones to consider that others around them might not want to have modders in their team.
So if you use mods that change the gameplay play in private lobbies or in offline mode.
I can't fathom the mentallity that it's others who play the game as it's intended that would have to back off in this case.
Absolutely childish entitlement behaviour.

Additionally, there's no way to determine if a mod is just a "cosmetic" mod or a "cheating" mod. There's mods out there that allow for users to bypass buying the season pass to get the DLC items for free. That might not directly affect other players, but it affects Focus & Saber revenue which indirectly affects all players. There's mods to allow players to be invincible and have unlimited special ability usage and see through walls in PvP game modes, etc. If Focus/Saber can't curate/moderate the mods and the current anti-cheat tools doesn't work, then they either need to allow all mods or no mods, because they (currently) can't pick and choose which mods are allowed and which mods aren't allowed.

Also, the Saber devs have posted comments about mods being okay, but the game's EULA specifically says anything altering gameplay isn't allowed. So Focus/Saber needs to get their legal teams, PR/media teams, and dev teams together so they all get on the same page/understanding.

Are you somehow handicapped? Since the '90s, there have been cheats for single-player games (PvE), and now we have public PvE lobbies, but you think that's not cheating because it's not PvP? I think you're the first person where servitorization would be useless.

Even if folks don't think PvE cheating is cheating, there's still PvP cheat mods as well. At a minimum, players should want to remove cheats from a PvP game.
