Now waste 4 hours of your life trying to get rid of this "easy anti cheat" garbage so that you can finally enable this.

Try to play Space Marine 2. Can't. Google how to play without it. Single mode only? "Mods enabled?" There are no mods. I just want to play without malware. I used the disable it instructions from here:

Is there a better way to let the game know I don't want known malware on my computer? I don't need or want or will ever play PvP. Just campaign from time to time and PvE. I don't want mods. I am uninterested in cheating. I cannot have this game install malware on my system. I want to play it from Steam. I want to buy any DLC and expansions and whatever is made available. I am unwilling to do that at the cost of having malware on my computer.

For Elden Ring it is simple to play without it even installed. I don't care about multiplayer in Elden Ring.

For this game I could live with solo play if I have to. Just make it easy to never install this malware.

I hope neither of you get hacked because of "easy anti cheat". I cannot afford the risk.
