I took a solid break from the game, because as far I was concerned, it was clear focus and saber have 0 intention of actually moving in the direction that the majority of their fans/consumers have been begging them to... Instead, giving in to sweat lords and doubling down on this absurd obsession the devs seem to have about "making the game hard!" I was further agitated by the glaring insult that charging me for cosmetic content, and then locking it behind nuisance grind walls is. Oh, then there's the fact that whoever moderates this forum warms up to trolls, but God forbid someone get verbally rough with one of them, you'll get a suspension and some cute little note telling you that it's okay for them to instigate, but it's not okay for you to react.

The whole experience around this game is smooth trash, which is unfortunate, because it has all the glow of something great and it could have cultivated a really cool community.

Anyways, I saw the new pack was out, and I've been a fan of Beakie helmets since I was a kid... So I reinstalled the game, which was a trip, because I paid for the stupid person edition; you know, the one where I give you people a bunch of money up front, just to be disappointed... And it tried to make me pay for the DLC (again). I had to uninstall and reinstall it all again. Great waste of my time.

After that, I log in, look around, didn't really notice much different, side from the ludicrously stupid "ordeals" implementation, which locks more gear behind borderline abusive grind walls. After snickering to myself about what a trainwreck this team is, I decided to run a mission (I'm opinionated and pro consumer, but I'm not a complete jerk, I give everything a fair chance).

Warm up run is Inferno, on substantial, and it went really well. I thought to myself, "You know, your too hard on these guys, they're just people who run a game company, they're not behavioral or marketing science professionals." I loaded up a random, and it threw me into the train mission. First half of it, was great... Then holy flying grenades. Those things were cheap and stupid before this newest patch, they were absurd that run.

I thought to myself, "that had to be a glitch in the AI director." I decided to run another mission anyways, this time on ruthless... I must have been with a really good group that first run, because immediately in this ruthless... It's just GANGS of majoris enemies, with platoons of minoris ones, then 2 Neurothropes at the same time... We survive all that, and suddenly the entire next area of the map was a cloud of grenades.

Every mission from there on, the grenade spam has been unbearable. I'm competitive, so I felt compelled to try, regardless... But what the ****, man? Oh yeah, and the biovore or whatever, it spits CLOUDS of those things. So, I come here to see what the good word is, and it's right on the front page... "We're aware that grenade spam is obscene and we've heard your frustrations, but it's not really important to us, because we already have your money."

I said it last time I was here, and I'll say it again. I will never buy another focus or saber game if this is how you guys are going to treat your ****ing consumers. I mean wow, it's not even fun trying to play this slop right now. I did all your legendary missions previously (by the way, none of that is recorded in your stupid ordeals map), but for as dumb as your parry and dodge windows are, for as idiotic as your mismanagement of the weapon functions are, and for as ham fisted as your absurd attraction to "making it hard, bro!" is, it's the consumer abuse that really sets me off, here.

You guys suck.
