I love playing games competitively, it's what I live for.

Eternal War's current state is super dry and stale.
A ranked game mode could bring in a whole new heap of players and bring back players who have already given into the boredom of the current 3 maps with no rewards besides credits.

Ranks: (These can be renamed to fit the Warhammer 40K theme)
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Diamond
Legend
Global (Top1000)
I would like to see a SR ranked system like Rainbow Six Siege or Halo Infinite.

The rank will put a cool badge next to your name in the scoreboard :)

REWARDS: Exclusive cosmetics for your marine or weapon(s) that can only be obtained through reaching a certain rank. These rewards could be timed exclusive for the season so there is worth and value for getting them.

GLOBAL LEADERBOARD: This is a feature simply to show the top players that hit the global mark for ranked.

CAREER PROFILE: This will be a hub that players can look at to see your seasonal history, rank, what class you play the most, highest difficulty completed for ops. Yes, before you private gamers ask, this will be able to be hidden if you choose so in your privacy settings.

Ranked matchmaking is an absolute must for this game, though I'd personally prefer a system akin to Halo 3's Trueskill algorithm. Just to use it as an example, ranking players from 1 to 50 would give the ladder more rungs depsite being the same height. This gives way to a more precise measure of competence as well as more indicators for incremental progress when compared to a lot of the tier systems found in games nowadays. I'm also against seasonality. When Halo switched over to seasons with Reach, one could feel like Sisyphus chasing onyx after onyx. Why stake your time in a system as transient as that, playing games in tiers you've soared past previously? If a high enough ceiling is established for the players, then there's no need for seasons and the bell curve of player skill might actually get a chance to fully stretch out. If one can see how seasons may inhibit this, then it wouln't be a stretch to say that they are diametrically opposed to the intent behind ranked matchmaking. I mean either way, just about any ranked system would be a seriously big improvement.
