After interaction with POIs, or sometimes after checking the map and closing it again, the UI becomes unavailable, and all of the HUD is gone. I can drive around but can't move the camera anymore. I can open the map once but changing to another vehicle won't work. Opening the game menu to go back to the main menu etc doesn't work at all. The only way handle the bug is closing the game altogether in the windows task bar.
