Currently the game is too easy, in terms of money at least. I'm about 70% completed, have bought and upgraded all vehicles (bar 1 or 2) and still have 500 000+ left.
The modules at camps are a cool and novel idea, but are rarely, if ever needed, because maybe the maps are too small for the amount of fuel in airdrops or the number of drops are too high or something, I'm not sure.
Maybe if there were less drops, or less fuel/repairs per drop, it would necessitate the usage of the modules to get by. I've also never had to use the scrap to make jacks or anchors.
The recovery cost is also too small IMO. It costs the same (or less!) than a reusable anchor. Then again, if you up the recovery cost, it might cost as much as a small vehicle, and then a whole rework of the vehicle prices will be needed as well, I don't know.
