I want to be sure about that one.

I understand the Invictus but I don't really understand the expansion part.

1. Basically you would get an expansion at launch with more maps, contents and vehicules?  
2. Does this mean the normal game have pay wall content?
   
3. Will it be possible to buy it in the future after purchasing the base game?
   

Normally with more expensive edition you get cosmetic or some gear but not that much content.  

So basically, buying the rebuild edition is the same as buying a year 1 season pass.

When the game launches, you will get the Invictus vehicle straight away to drive.

The other maps and content will come at a later date. You  could simply buy the base game and wait.then purchase the new maps seperately, but they may cost slightly more than buying the rebuild edition. It is a gamble, as the maps might not be good etc.

Are you sure about this? Maybe i'm not looking in the right places and haven't found it yet. Can you point me to where you got this info?

I should probably have quantified that there was some supposition involved with my answer.

I got the info from the Seam page, if you look at the info regarding the Rebuild edition, it has the usual asterix marks. One says the Invictus is available at launch and the other says the content (maps etc) will be delivered later.

Since Snowrunner has season passes to extend the base game content and it looks like Roadcraft will do the same.

My conclusion is that the rebuild edition is effectively a year one pass type thing. 

Given the history of Sabre and selling content after the base game, especially content out with season passes, I thought it logical to say that there is a very good chance that everything will be purchasable after launch, as Sabre/Steam will not want to miss out on any chance to sell things.

I pre ordered Snowrunner on Epic. On Epic the Navistar has never been buyable outside of the pre order as far as I am aware. However, when the game launched on Steam a year later, the Navistar was purchasable and still is. I cannot see sabre changing their policy for Roadcraft, as it would not make sense.

However, I could be wrong, as there is no actual official statement on the matter. That is my take on it.

I was searching for the same information but don't find anything.

I want to buy standard edition but access to the "rebuild" advantage later (with DLC like season pass)... if we could have a clear answer from the dev, it would be great !
