​Rather than having the dump truck just lift or lower (or maybe in addition to) I'd like the ability to set the gate opening, therefore setting a more consistent flow rate. Real dump trucks have this ability.


Lets say you want to lay a thin layer of sand across a muddy patch. Currently, you lift until you get some flow, then drive. every bump causes the angles to change, changing flow rates so you either get nothing, or all of it all at once.


If you could set the gap, bumps would be less likely to change the flow rate, unless you bounce enough to stop the flow, or dump over the sides/back. just a small Quality of Life thing.
