Nice. I'm liking the changes to the Heavy Bolt Rifle. That weapon is so much fun.

On another note, what are the chances the Heavy's perks will reflect Bolt Weapons in general? Rather than just the Heavy Bolter (i.e Heavy's perks can affect the Heavy Bolt Rifle).

Thank you very much for listening to Assault feedback. The flat increase to ability recharge rate is fantastic, and I especially appreciate giving Adrenaline Boost as a prestige perk, which is much more fitting for the class.

Regarding Adrenaline Boost, could we get some clarity if a perfect block would also trigger the effect, or if it's only triggered by a parry or dodge?

1. ability speed boost on Assault is appreciated, Assault should in theory be able to reach a 40% speed boost on their ability recharge.
2. I really don't get why yall are hellbent on making the melee prestige perks work for heavy, he just doesn't have good melee options. maybe give him something to slow heat build up on his weapons or a killing tally damage buff or something to work with his weapons, because melee is just almost useless on Heavy
3. Suprisingly generous to the bolt pistol, honestly I would say its unneeded but I don't see any reason to complain

Boosted Recharge (Collecting an Armour Boost restores Ability Charge by 25%):  → Increased to 100% Even with this bonus, it's a useless perk that no one will take, because on ruthless you'll get a maximum of 1 armor per run, maybe 2, it's too much of a hassle to look for boxes that are usually far from the main route, you need to completely change the perk

as neat as the perk is, I kinda agree. armor boosts are better used on the classes that rely on their team and don't have an easy time regaining armor like Heavy or Sniper, not the one trick pony who can already get a 40% speed boost to their ability

Why arent the melee classes getting perks revolving around melee?

Seems like the ranged perks are getting tons of love while there are practically no decent melee perks for the melee classes?

I just don't understand anymore, you yourself say that you will review the perks on the heavy class, after the question about the fact that melee perks are not very suitable for him, and as a result we only get ammo restoration without restrictions on the main weapon

Auto Bolt Rifle:

  • Headshot damage increased by 15%

Told ya, When Saber said about listening feedback is always too vague to believe that they actually take our constructive feedback seriously. 2 weeks I've been talking about ABR need more better perks. What do they do? Only increase flat damages for headshot.

I'll continue about Boosted Recharge, it seems to me that the perk to increase healing from first aid kits Resilience would be more suitable for the Assault , because he is always in close combat and is more likely to receive damage, well, and in general, please replace the perk  Even on a sniper who has the ability to stay invisible with a regular perk combination, it's not very useful and too situational.

The problem here is that you only have 8 perks while others have around 10-12

Good changes! I hope that new Absolute ll be much harder. With all that prestige perk absolute feels like Lethal.

The boosted Recharge perk for assault is still aweful. Why have such an absurd condition? The "buff" to let it give 100 percent doesn't even change anything, since having perks to be so conditional really ruins them.

Also still no melee health restoration option for assault is also a big miss. Why can bulwark and vanguard heal themselves, but assault who needs it the most can't?

I really love this game, which is why i'm so invested, but some decisions really don't make sense to me. Was hoping at least some of this gets addressed, after the last feedback announcement.

As one of the likely first players to beat the new Trygon Boss on Absolute as of the latest PTS update, I must say it is enjoyable, albeit a bit too much "Unblockable/forced dodge" gimmicks. What in my opinion made the Hive Tyrant so fun to fight is it never went anywhere, and outside of the Psy-wave attack you could always engage it. Of course this means that the Trygon is thankfully very different from the Hive Tyrant and I was able to understand its attack patterns and even get a few Perfect Parry's. I would like for the Blue/Orange indicators to be more frequent, as I had to 'guess' what I could and could not parry, but it was fun overall.202504~2.JPG

Man i´m gonna go against the current here but i do like them giving Heavy "Indomitable Spirit" and "Duelist", literally two perks that had been talked in these forums would actually suit the class better than the ones they are replacing.

Bear in mind Heavy has a balanced parry window and as much as i´m used to it it does not hurt to get better timings for.

The extremis melee kill now restores Primary Weapon´s ammo, i´m kinda fine with this for a start, between Lictors, Scarabs and Raveners being melee focused so they are close to you and the chance of a Zoan, Biovore and Sorcerer to be relatively close, this will be an okay perk. I do expect Saber to keep tweaking these or adding new ones leaning maybe a bit more towards ranged perks, but this is okay for a start.

Even the awful melee perks got reworked into actually good survivability ones, one of the things Heavy ain´t that good at outside of Strategic Stand blasting to get your contested HP back, and for the people that liked or wanted the option to play Melee Focused Heavy,  that new Stomp Perk and the 100% Melee damage will be okay.

I would like for them to give us a 30 or maybe 45s CD version of  - "Versatile Precision : Performing a kill with your Secondary Weapon restores 15% of your Primary Weapon's Ammo. If the inventory is full, the Ammo is placed overcap in inventory. Cooldown is 15 seconds. " , like Sniper just got, and yes a higher cooldown because 15% of 600 or 750 or 840 is a lot, gotta balance it out, but that would be a good one to get.

Also take into account that we are getting the Inferno Pistol, a good choice for Tyrannid maps that can help you maintain ammo economy on your primary, that thing blasts hordes and staggers Majoris and Extremis, nothing to scoff at.
Also getting the Heavy Bolt Pistol aswell, great for sniping Majoris´s heads/Zoans/Neuros and it cleaves like a truck if you line a horde up.
Plasma keeps being great.

Bolt Pistol got a good buff.

Also remember they swapped the last precision talent in the Heavy Bolter for an extra 10% more damage and every time i´ve used it on the PTS it shreds.

So between that, all the extra secondary choices, extra survival perks , and that ammo restore on extremis for primary perk,we are in a good spot compared to the first phase of the PTS, if anything this shows progress.

Honestly just about everything i have read in this post literally felt like " Yeah this is moving in the right direction", even the 15% Headshot for HBR and Auto Bolt, because that was one of their worst aspects; i do agree about the PickUpPerk, that is not gonna come in handy much, but they´re trying.

Man i like Saber and they are at the very least trying, we could have very well got an early Helldivers 2 or god help us , a Blizzard Entertainment one.

I say let them cook for a bit.
