Ran into a bug where I think I was pressing the next button too fast and ended up with no UI. Pressing buttons like escape and spacebar would chime audio prompts but was trapped looking at my greaves with no UI or changes to armor. The screen was not froze as there were still moving smoke particles in the background. Was forced to end process.
