Footsteps and certain sound effects can't be heard so it's very easy to sneak on people or get jumped on with no indication. It's potentially game-breaking when also compounded with the lower FoV, making flanking lack its necessary risk. Other sound effects also either sound very low or can't be heard. Pretty much everyone I talked to about it has noticed it, it seems like the sound mixing is buggy.


My audio gear are AKG 702 headphones and a GSX 1200 7.1 soundcard, which are particularly good at sound cues in games, for reference. I can perfectly tell where every sound cue is coming from in say Overwatch but not in this game.
