Absolute difficulty spawn rate

I have fun with the new difficulty but I noticed in my last game than enemies keep popping without call re-enforcements. Here is the situation:

Team: Vanguard(myself), Heavy, Bulwark.

Map: Fall of Atreus


All goes well then arrives the part that we need to hold until the crane liftup the stone and the path cleared.

We manage to hold and a Hellbrute appears. Ok, we sustain quite some damage and the hellbrute with 3 other rubrics seems to like me A LOT!! Nevermind, Keep them busy, manage to deal some damages while my mates have cleared the room. I Jumped onto every calls to stop them. Good stuff.

Last one to kill: The hellbrute. Then, without warnings, 2 Lesser sorcerers + 1 Terminator + bunch of rubrics just decided to join the party. First WTF moment. No Call for reinforcement, no "New Wave" signal.


At that point, we decided to carry on to get to the Ammo create. Jumped into the hole: 3 more Sorcerer with 2 flying Tzaaangors (and a bunch of minions) on the OTHER SIDE OF THE BLOCKING BOULDER, HITTING US AT RANGE ACROSS THE BLOCKED PATH!!


So here are my questions:

- Why enemies where standing waiting for us at the checkpoint beyond where we could reach them quickly (Have to lift the boulder first and you are not invincible during the cinematic)?? 

- Why new enemies just popped without any call or sign of a new wave??? 


If it is a feature of the new difficulty: revert it please! Don't change the rules/mechanics of the game! If not, that's a bug.

Extremis Spawns, starting from Lethal, arrive with a couple of Majoris and Minoris enemies in tow.

It is completely intended, it's the hardest difficulty.
