From my perspective, I have noticed along with the new patch, the devs seem to have doubled down on ALL ranged enemies, both in numbers, damage and rate of fire. This needs to be toned down with the addition of the extra standard / extremis / terminus enemies. There have been more than one time (on Substantial and above) where I’ve been in battles with swarms stacked with 6-10 majoris and two extremis, and terminus spawns (which is acceptable) where I’ve seen three or four sniper beams intersecting in front of me from cross map positions and not to mention the packs of 6 to 8 of the minoris ranged spitters, being carpet bombed with barbs and shotgun majoris lobbing havoc from outside the melee battles. And when you add in spore mines and/ or biovoires into the equation, it’s practically an instant win button for the AI Director. It’s not adding a challenge to the game. It’s just adding a sense of things being too tedious at this point in my humble opinion. I want this game to be the tactical experience it should be not the button mashing experience a 16-year-old on monster drinks would want.
