so I cleared my cache by holding the power button for ten seconds to turn it off and then unplugged it for 30 seconds and since that point I haven’t gotten any crashes. Not even on inferno I know a lot of other Xbox players have been having this issue so hopefully this helps

Will give it a try today to see if it works. Since the patch for the patch was dropped I’ve gone from every operation ending in black screen to roughly half ending in black screen - and yes Inferno seems to be the most frequent. 

Cleared the cache. Reset the router. No change. 2 operations both ending in black screen - ballistic engine and obelisk. Third one froze as I reached the Thunderhawk extraction point end of Inferno. It have played for the last two weeks where only 5 missions have ended in success. My vanguard is at level 24 prestige 1 and I can’t progress. My confidence is low enough that I expect the black screen.
