Quick note on the most common issues

Dear Players,


First off, we wanted to thank you for reporting your issues and providing us with feedback. We’re currently working to find fixes. 

We've noticed that some of you have concerns when launching the game due to the installation of the Epic Online Services client. This was implemented to support optional cross-play between Steam and Epic players and to synchronize friend lists between the two stores.

However, please be aware linking your Steam and Epic accounts is not required to enjoy the game. These features are entirely optional and will not affect your gameplay experience in any way.

MOST COMMON ISSUES

Game Crash

Potential workaround:

  • Please deactivate overlay software (like Riva Tuner, Nvidia overlay, Afterbuner,...)


Game Crash on first cinematic
Potential workaround:

  • Please update Windows 10 - version must be above 1507

  • Verify that the game is launching on correct GPU

  • Update your GPU driver


Your controller doesn't work with the game
Potential workaround:

  • Deactivate Steam Input to avoid the conflict with Controllers

  • Right click on game > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input

  • Steam doesn't always support wireless controllers. Plug it with USB and then deactivate Steam Input to avoid the conflict with controllers.


Infinite Loading/crash when launching Operations
Potentially caused by network issues or you getting kicked by different squads. 

Potential workaround: 

  • Restart the game

 

Connectivity issues on PS5

Many players seem to have connectivity issues on PS5 especially, being unable to join other players.

We are still investigating this issue.


Error Code: 14

Potential workaround:

1. Control panel > Clocl and Region > Change Time Zone > Change Time Zone

Make sure you have the correct time zone on.

2. Setting > Time & Language > Date and Time

Make sure to set the timezone automatically.



We aim to fix all these issues in our first patches.

What about consant crashes on Xbox Series X ? At this point i have a feeling that this problem is straight up ignored. There are tons of threads on bugs report page and after reading through whole Q&A there is not a single word about it. Many people simply cannot enjoy the game when it crashes after just few minutes back to console dash board. I did everything i can to fix it on my side, nothing helped. I reported bug, posted thread, asked question. I just hope that big patch at the end of September will fix this.

No armory data after mission is done.


With the exception of "Inferno" operation when I played it the 1st time, done at the 1st difficulty, no other operation has granted me armory data after I finish them. I'm an "explorer" type of gamer so with each game I start looking around & pick up everything I see that could benefit the team. Even those that I've been picking up or rewarded after killing that special enemy type that appears hasn't granted any armory data after the mission is over & we all come back at the battle barge.

yesterday my character rolled back progress relative to atleast 4 substantial difficulty missions. Solid 2,5+ hours of gameplay wasted away. Anyone else had this kind of issue?

My 2 hour progress from yesterday got completey wiped with the exception of the "Prüfungen" (don't know what they call it in english). But only the progress got saved, so none of the rewards stayed and I can't complete them again because I already "did them".

Hope this gets fixed

To preface, I played the original game years ago on my very first computer, absolutely loved it. To hear there was an incoming sequel, I was thrilled. unfortunately after 5 hours of "fixing" ala internet suggestions and 1 hour of the actual game in menus and NOT gameplay, I decided to return the game because even after all the fixes or workarounds the game still would not function after the opening cinematic. idk how much you want us to work to play a broken product, but most games at least let you play them. I wouldn't even be that upset if it weren't such a common glaring issue. Very disappointed that a game I've been waiting for and other people are having fun with for whatever reason is completely unplayable. I would still buy it today if it were fixed.

Game constantly crashing on xbox x , (my longest game is 45 min), you mention nothing about that ,we are many to experiment this issue

Hi
Steam player here from middle east region. We keep getting a lot of disconnects, mostly near the end of the mission. Error msg would come up "Disconnected from server, return to main menu"
I have lost around 4 games this way in this week alone. All the time, relic and exp points lost. Please investigate this

21 days since a post by devs and I've managed to successfully play an Operation once. ONCE. Every other time, whether inviting via Steam, through the game, whatever - it just goes to a black screen and dumps us back on the battle barge with no ability to input anything into the game (except movement). This is a well documented bug on the forums that seems to be getting no attention or response.


Unless you want half your player base demanding refunds of this (fairly expensive) game - how about we fix this issue? Fully a third of the game's content is unplayable.

Hello.
What about fixing steam achievements?
Many people reported this.
I reported bug with bulward 100kill with every weapon.
Did every achievement in the game, this is the only which is left.
Killed 100 easily with chainsaw, sword ( both stances) fist, and you repplied that i need to kill 100 with every weapon..

Unable to play the game, it constantly crashes due to a "stopped interacting with windows error" It either happens on booting up the game or a little bit into the first mission or as the character is picking up their weapon right after the intro cutscene.

32GB DDR5-6000 RAM

RTX 3090

nVME 5.0 SSD


Not running into this issue in any other game, and played through the entire first game with no issues beforehand. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would love to play this game.
