PvP Multiplayer is unnecessarily limiting: I can't play the Space Marine or class I want.

I see no good reason to not just let people play what Space Marine they want to in PvP.

Half of the time I have to play Heretic - so my favorite Loyalist Astartes armor that I set up is inaccessible.

And to add onto the frustration, I can't even play which class I want. I want to play tactical for example - well guess what, only 2 people per class apparently (out of 6).

So let's put this together. Let's say I just want to play my cool tactical Ultramarine with my artificer armor, and I really don't care for the other classes or heretics.

Well, turns out I can only play what I want about 30% of the time.

Half the time I'm stuck as heretic, and a substantial time I get loyalist, 2 other people have already elected to play my class before I could load in and choose.

---

These are stupid restrictions. The first game didn't have this. The lore of the 40k universe doesn't need to have this, there's plenty of wacky team-ups, training exercises, civil wars, whatever, between all types of space marines.

Gameplay justifications, like balance, you say? That's on the developer to fix. Limiting player options artificially is very lame and lazy. Most of the classes seem strong and unique anyways, who cares if some team wants to try running 4 bulwarks? Let people do cool and fun things.

(Quick side note - the Heretic customizations are even more limited, why does my assault guy have to be a night lord? I have zero interest in playing or seeing those, unless I'm fighting them.)

Therefore I see no good reason for this, and I hope others speak up as well. It straight up makes me not want to play PvP, or even worse, just quit out of matches where I don't get what I want, which is going to be a large portion of them, which is a waste of everyone's time.

Also I'd like to add quickly,

I see no reason why Heretic Astartes marines can't join for PvE modes - again, there's always a feasible lore-reason for random factions and marines to fight alongside each other.

Ideally we should have anyone able to play any Marine they'd like in any mode. I see no good reason why this can't eventually be the case.

Another few games of PvP tonight and I couldn't play my Loyalist Tactical class, it must be popular and it's taken. Does Focus want me to quit games until I can play the matches I want? Lol.
