I will no longer participate in this forum after my thread "Product management that raises serious doubts about the team's professionalism and competence" was closed. I have no problem with the fact that it was shut down, but I feel it’s necessary to clarify a few things.

Thread : https://community.focus-entmt.com/focus-entertainment/space-marine-2/forums/6-general/threads/46357-product-management-that-raises-serious-doubts-about-the-team-s-professionalism-and-competence?page=1#post-220223

Let me make one thing clear from the start: I have nothing personal against any of the users who responded poorly to my thread. This is not about personal opinions or feelings. What matters is how discussions are conducted here, and that’s where the real problem lies. It’s not disagreement that bothers me—it’s the poor quality of debate, which reflects a broader cultural issue of increasing intellectual laziness. Many people are simply victims of this problem, and unfortunately, some of them were on full display in this thread.

Some users claim to have been offended by me, yet instead of refuting my arguments with valid reasoning, they were the ones to offend me first. A perfect example is Blobie, who responded to my post by telling me:

"Next time you feel like posting, please sit down for a second, take a deep breath, count to 10, exhale, and see if you still feel the need to post something."

This is not a counter-argument; this is an attempt to silence someone because their critique doesn’t sit well with the fans. I greatly prefer those who respectfully said things like "I don’t agree with what you’re saying, but in my opinion…"—that’s perfectly fine. But others, however, wrote things like AshySamurai’s comment: "Good thing Space Marine 2 doesn’t follow that shitty trend."

And yet, I’m the one being taught about politeness? Some users in the thread labeled me a troll for pointing out valid criticism, while moderators closed my thread for "behavioral attitude." Perhaps they should take a closer look at who’s really responsible for the toxic environment here.

This is not about having a different opinion—it’s about the toxic behavior some users engage in. Many of these users are simply projecting their own tendencies onto others, opposing everything just for the sake of opposition, without giving any real arguments—simply defending their beliefs blindly.

Furthermore, this cultural problem is not unique to this forum; it exists across many communities. There is an increasing cultural illiteracy, evident in the responses of certain users, some of whom didn’t even read my post because it was "too long." I’m sorry to say this, but perhaps it’s time to return to school if you struggle to process complex arguments that require an analytical mindset.

It’s not my fault if modern culture has reduced people’s ability to focus beyond two lines of text. This is the direct result of never opening a book or engaging with serious literature, which explains why so many people feel entitled to respond rudely without understanding what they are commenting on. When they are called out on their behavior, they act as if they are the victims.

I stand by everything I said in my thread. I believe I offered valuable and well-reasoned arguments, but it was shut down unjustly. Moderators should not only intervene to close threads but also mediate and curb the ignorance that plagues these forums—ignorance fueled by people who refuse to read, who are the first to insult, and who destroy constructive conversations with their superficiality and rudeness. Their goal is to derail intelligent discussions because they don’t want to hear anything that challenges their views.

And let me assure you, the issues I highlighted in this thread and in previous ones, such as the one about the power fist or the "Saber must read this" thread—where I criticized aspects of gameplay, the champion pack, and other game elements—were all treated with precise and detailed critical analysis. But at this point, it doesn’t matter.

The problems will remain, whether I’m here or not, and they will ultimately affect the type of players who will stay with this game. Ignoring constructive criticism won’t make those problems go away. In the end, it’s your call. I’m out blasphemers and infedels..

Man, I have a feeling you are in wrong place. You would fit better in some closed group of highly intellectual philosophers or scholars who dispute problems of the society between break for tea when they are hearing poems written by each other and playing chess or piano.

You make very long posts which are very difficult to get through. Do you realize how much time and energy it would take someone who disagrees with you to fully engage in debate here? People simply don't have will or energy to do so but it doesn't mean they are unable to do it. They just decide not to.

I think forum is better with your posts and so I would kindly suggest to you, to stay here but try to make them shorter - that improves chances of people reading them and expressing their own opinion after that.

I will remind you this is forum which was build around dynamic game full of action and violence. It doesn't mean posts should be violent or expressive but I got a feeling that writing a wall of text is not what people who spend their free time in such games enjoy doing.

As for culture of online communities, as Dota 2 veteran, let me tell you kind sir, you didn't see rudeness or toxic environment, at least not here.

May the Emperor guide you.
