5.0 Rears its ugly face again?

To me it feels like the latest patch has somehow made parrying feel almost as bad as 5.0. I don’t understand why Sabre feels they need to nerf  perks and mechanics like parrying when they worked well?  I’m not saying they intentionally nerfed parrying again, but I think the latest patch somehow has diminished its effectiveness in a way that feels sloppy like 5.0 . In addition contested health is still not working as it is supposed to since patch 5.0.


In combination with the perk “rework“ the game has felt less satisfying. I personally disagree with most of the nerfs that came with the latest patch. I sort of understand the grenade launcher, but nerfing it into the ground is not the answer. My suggestion in this regard is to least make grenade ammo available at the ammo drop pods if nothing else. Maybe that’s not the right answer but certainly the devs approach here is much too aggressive. 


Outside of that, the perk “balancing” was unnecessary. Trying to make the game more relevant by making it more awkward or less fun to play is not the answer. The play style of each class brought something to the table that was fun. These balancing (nerf) changes for the most part, especially for the Tactical, Vanguard, and the Bulwark has pigeonholed many into a different place style, which is not as fun. My hope is the devs restore the perks that had no unintended benefits back to their original state. There was nothing wrong with the way they were.


The goal here should be to make the game fun, not have the devs feel justified with their game via nerfs. I never understood why developers do this for no apparent reason.

Personally I didn't feel any difference with the parrying system and I'm having a lot o fun with vanguard, specially unmatched zeal in absolute. Tactical with stalker rifle or plasma is crazy too. 


I know where you're coming from and I aggree that experimenting with things outside our comfort zone can be hard, but overall I think the game changed for the better after 6.0.
