Hypocrisy of the rest of the team members

Many times playing heavy I had a problem getting ammo because the rest of the squad took everything even though they didn't have to, it's persistent if you're addicted to ammo, it's hypocrisy because the rest of the classes have melee weapons that are much better. Two members of the squad are able to eliminate one from the fight, i.e. me from the fight because they were missing 2-3 bullets in the magazine, where from the middle of the battle I walk completely without the possibility of firing any shots and all melee attacks do not affect the killing of the opponent or it is long and persistent.

I have all characters maxed out, but I still have this problem if I want to go back to heavy bolter. Your task in battle can be crossed out by the incompetence of the rest of the team because the guy collects all the ammo boxes before you because the idiot is missing 3 rounds in his magazine, after which there is nothing left for you. And if I rush for ammo boxes, in 80% of cases it ends with them kicking you out of the team because they don't like it. This is total class discrimination in this case. These problems happen to me on the last two difficulty levels. On lower levels you can still manage somehow, but higher it is no fun.

Sorry for mistakes this is not my native language.

This is why I don't play multiplayer PVE. Too imbalanced, and lazily implemented difficulty scaling. Bullet spongy enemies with far less resources on a class designed to shoot and that is heavily restricted with melee. Trolls will say to lower your difficulty, wait for their comments 😂

I would've liked if SM2 had something like Darktide, a hud that shows whether or not someone has high/medium/low amount of ammo.
That and/or a selection in the command wheel a player can use that'll have the character say "I need ammo", and possibly have that in text as well in the chat window.

I know everyone still wouldn't pay attention to it.
But I know that I tend to check the HUD if there are others in more need of ammo than I when I play Darktide.
Same thing in Helldivers 2.

I think the major reason why people are so "greedy" in SM2 is because they can't tell whether or not someone is in dire need of ammo.

They really should've made the items available for everyone, not just make us go crazy over who gets to them first. It makes the whole experience pretty awful, esp on higher difficulties.

Yeah include it in the TAB tactical view next to the items they are carrying. Make the team ability they have on take less space and dedicate some UI real-estate to primary/secondary ammo total and an ability ready indicator. I check that readout all the time when I see a stim or guardian relic to see who objectively most needs it before turning to who subjectively most needs it.

In general, teamwork increases the chance of survival during an operation, and I can't fathom how starving your squad mates of ammunition is good idea. As a courtesy if there's multiple ammo boxes I'll usually just take one and point the rest out for the team. However if I'm running with a Heavy or a Sniper I will pass on grabbing any until they've grabbed some and moved on. I'd like to think most people do the same, but I too have had to go full melee as a Heavy or Sniper before due to overzealous ammo grabbing.

Looks like you got paired with a bunch of d-bags. I'd just hang back and let them take the heat if they're hogging all the pickups.
