Rolling vs. Running

This isn't a huge issue for me,  but does it bother anybody else that somersaulting across the map is both faster and safer than running? 


I mean, first, multiple somersaults shouldn't be linearly faster than sprinting, ever. It shouldn't even be close.



And second, the iframes you get from somersaulting shouldn't make you immune to ranged damage (I realize that it kind of has to though, as a game mechanic). Which leads to a secondary issue... why are ranged enemies so incredibly accurate when shooting at a sprinting (serpentine! serpentine!) Astartes?

There are no I-frames for ranged attacks while dodging, what there is is the enemy AI cannot target you for a few frames so they simply miss most of the time.

They need to add the sprint bust from many action-adventure games where you have 2 sprint speeds, one that is a bit faster than normal movement and one that kicks in after sprinting for a few seconds. That way we have shorter times between fights. Maybe have the sprint attack deal increased damage when executed out of the stage 2 sprint and if you hit sprint again you keep going at the stage 2 speed.


Titus shoulder-checks a vehicle and explodes it in that secret level episode while sprinting, I want that.
