Haven't played on the PTS so I gotta ask: the Inferno Pistol's perk that gives you a 20% melee damage on no ammo, does that refer to 0 ammo overall or just an empty magazine?
And while we're at it how are we liking this weapon so far? I think it's a good fit to sniper and BC vanguards but I think not a good pick for Assault unless playing in a pre-made party with 2 ranged classes to handle thropes.

You have to be completely empty I do believe. Overall, good additon. Just annoying when I am outside of the effective range by perfect dodging backwards, I lose the Gunstrike prompt. Some tweaks needed here and there. But a good addition I welcome.

Well that's a shame. I thought the perk that reduces it to 1 ammo per mag was the reason to get it. Oh well I'll give it a try once I unlock the relics just to confirm as well. Also yeah the short range definitely does not help gunstrike reliant builds which is why I don't think it's a good fit for assault unless maybe you take the +range perks and +range version of the weapon but I'm yet to test that.
