At the very least heavy should have an ability to use kick as a melee attack, which can be seen in Exfiltration mission when you carry the battery to the generator.

That's a great point—heavy units definitely struggle in close quarters without a proper melee option. It would be interesting to see if a future update addresses this with a balanced melee feature. On a related note, if anyone’s following state-level incidents involving weapon use or charges, this Oregon arrest trace source offers useful updates. Looking forward to seeing how gameplay evolves!

It'd be nice to have a melee option if you're using the hbr. A block weapon on heavy would easily make him one of the most powerful classes ingame, even more so than before.

If you take the 2 (+1 for better parry window) melee prestige perks + the class perk and the melee damage bonus on your weapon you can literally stomp everything to death and ironically can even stunlock your enemies. His prestige perks are all about making him a menace in melee combat without needing an actual melee weapon (well, other than his legs) which also can save you a lot of ammo because you don't need to shoot trash enemies that are near you.
Heavy needs better class perks (rightmost columm) because the current selection is hilariously bad.

That's a valid point—heavy units definitely struggle in close quarters without proper melee options. For anyone curious about real-world law enforcement data and how it relates to use-of-force incidents or charges, you can check detailed criminal history Tennessee reports online. It might give some perspective on how similar scenarios unfold in real life.

Yep. Stomp is aoe and perks buff it insanely. Stomp also stagger all around and even push away the spores.
