Community engagement? Let’s call it what it really is: selective visibility.

You don’t engage with the community — you manage its optics.

  • The most upvoted post on your platform, voicing legitimate concerns about the perk system? Deleted.
  • A thread pointing out the ineptitude of the stewardship of the dev team? Deleted.

No explanation. No warning. Worse still no acknowledgement.

This isn’t moderation. This is suppression.

And it sends a very clear message: if feedback doesn’t flatter the narrative, it doesn’t get to exist.

That’s not just unprofessional — it’s downright tyrannical.

There was no harassment. No hate speech. No abuse.

If the word “Useless” doesn't feel emotionally justified at this point even if it's not technically accurate, you are at a stage of abusing your power here.

We are the players — loyal, paying, and still engaged despite everything — trying to hold you accountable. Expressing frustration, yes. But doing so honestly.

And your answer? Silence and the delete key?

That’s not community management. That’s narrative control. It’s authoritarian in spirit.

Here’s the facts:
We’re eight months in. Up to Patch 7. And we’re still battling bugs that were reported at launch. Matchmaking is inconsistent, progression is unstable, and performance issues persist. These aren’t edge cases — they’re the foundation of the experience. And instead of addressing the elephant in the room, collating the facts and presenting a fix case, you're redecorating...?

Meanwhile, your bug reporting systems are neglected/ flat out not used.

Your communications are surface-level/ copy-paste.

You do have the tools to identify issues. You just choose not to use them. Or worse — you pretend to, while quietly pruning away anything that doesn’t toe the line.

You don’t get to delete the frustration you've created and call it a violation.

You don’t get to silence people and call it moderation.

You don’t get to ignore a community and still claim to serve it.

Because when the most engaged voices are on only met with erasure, people don’t just walk away — they convince others to do so as well.

And that’s when the real damage is done.

What threads did they delete?
And they also banned a guy because he said that "moderator doesnt exist" in his post (that the only thing he said about them basically, the rest of the post was about knife things)
They banned him with the reason "Moderators do exist"

The lack of communication and how, pretty much shows what kind of people are working on this game. The attitude towards others is gross and immature at best. The "devs, admins, mods," at all levels will only reply if they know its a moment they can correct or belittle. Or they will moderate/ban/delete to get the point they are unable to articulate across. You will never see Hylia or any of the "moderators" saying something positive or constructive to a paying customer. its always "hmmm wait 2 weeks for the patch.... Sorry!!" check any admins comment history they don't have anything nice to say except how rude dumb and inpatient we are. They also keep claiming they can read but it has yet to be verified. I hope they announce their reading skill changelog in the next patch notes announcement of patches.

they already got funding for SM3 and they show a trend of not understanding the relationship they have with their own community.  You can tell just by how they write that they have private conversations about hating the community. Really sad and very telling that saber/focus couldn't find 1 actual 40k fan to be a mod.

I completely agree. This is the voice of a true fan who’s still here after more than 8 months. A developer that doesn’t recognize how valuable that is has no future.

I mean I like to throw sht as well, I am expert in that and I would like to agree with you, but honestly I cannot. Many of arguments you brought up got dismissed by my own experience.

I am playing since early access, I had day 1 issues as well, I remember weird freezes, I remember disconnections, I remember few black screens, I remember Error N-something, I remember FPS drops, I remember looong loading times, I remember parry not working, I remember not being able to join lobbies, I remember long matchmaking, and many more things that don't come to my mind right now.

The thing is... these issues got fixed for me and if they got fixed for me, then they were also for many other players.

Do I think Space Marine 2 has much bigger potential that is not fully used?

Yes.

Do I think Space Marine 2 could be much greater than it is?

Yes.

Do I think devs are lazy and for sure are not working on this game like they did before release?

Yes.

Do I think they just sit there, ignore everything and do nothing but think about how to squeeze more money of out us?

Well, no.

I don't know about deleted threads but if they were posted in same manner as example made by PeekabooEU, then sorry but I don't see why it should remain on forum.

Basically all this post says are some insults + wide category of "day 1 issues" that were not fixed, without even naming them.

I am as well dissapointed by how communication goes but you guys need to understand we are probably talking to some "community managers" who get paid basically by talking to you from time to time so you have feeling like company cares. Same thing is in sales, salesperson will listen to you for hours, ask questions, watch football game with you, bring you jar of honey, compliment your wife, be friend with your dog, let you drive his car if he has better one, just because you have MONEY that he wants in his pocket. How do I know? Well, I'm one of them.

The feedback that we would like to get lies in minds of people who are higher in company rank and those people are there because they don't waste time on arguing with randoms on internet about parry bug or missing armor piece on arm.

There are countless of threads with day 1 issues listed and NONE of them have been fixed

valid points.

But what is the purpose of a community moderator if not the act the 'medium' between the community and the developer? Yeah they are there also to manage those here in bad faith (but lately that bad faith seems a direction result of their own 'inactions').

So our moderators respond with boiler plate responses (some literally copy/paste):

  • Submit to bugs section
  • submit to ideas section
  • submit a ticket to Saber
  • or if the topic strokes their ego "*emojis* thankyouuuu"

We say that doesn't work. We say we've done that multiple times. We say we're using the tools you gave us to report issues. We attempt to engage in conversation.

What results? Silence - utter maddening silence. Which stokes a fire a frustration to a boiling point, especially those like myself who still cannot get a stable game and many others (it's working for you? great, congrats, but take a glance at bugs section, Reddit, Official Discord, Youtube, this very site - and you can see sooooo many people are experiencing this)

As I previously stated, at this point, it isn't about being nice - it is about being heard.
