Hey team,

Just wanted to provide some feedback regarding your patch note:

“- Major memory optimisation (Mostly for PvE and PvP).”

Prior to Patch 7.0, I was able to run the game flawlessly at 4K with the 4K texture pack installed, using FSR 4.0 Quality, in-game frame generation, and all settings maxed (Ultra). Frame times were stable, with zero stutter — even during fast camera movements or intense combat.

I noticed previously the game aggressively cached assets into VRAM, and would intelligently spill ~2GB into system RAM before cycling out old assets. This worked extremely well and kept frame pacing consistent.

Since the patch, without changing anything on my end, I’m now seeing significant frame time spikes and micro-stuttering, particularly when turning the camera quickly or traversing areas with volumetrics or high asset density.

To regain similar performance and smoothness, I’ve had to lower:

  • Textures from Ultra → High

  • Volumetrics from High → Medium

It feels like the new memory behavior is far more aggressive with LOD swapping and asset eviction, likely in pursuit of reduced RAM/VRAM usage — but at the cost of real-time stability.

Would appreciate it if the team could take another look at this behavior — especially in setups that can handle the full memory load.

I’m happy to share diagnostics, CapFrameX graphs, VRAM usage data, and before/after comparisons if helpful.

Thanks for your time!
