Lore permitting, remove class restrictions on certain armor pieces for use in custom armor sets to allow for any class to use them. Some of the more prominent examples:
- Champion Pack unique armor pieces. Season Pass owners should be able to use individual armor pieces added via the Champion Packs in custom armor sets, such as the Ultramarine Champion's Gauntlets and the Bulwark Champion's Pauldrons.
- PROS-related armor pieces, such as the Chapter Command Pauldron or Sergeant Metaurus's Breastplate. While Sergeant Metaurus is a Bulwark, his breastplate would be lore-accurate on any class. Additionally, the Chapter Command Pauldron should be color customizable.
- Many class-specific armor pieces, such as those earned by completing Operations or winning Eternal War matches, should be wearable on any class with the same armor type. This is especially true for most class-restricted helmets and greaves, while some other armor pieces should remain class specific for lore reasons. For example, the Tactical's Standard-Issue to Relic Secundus helmets should be wearable by any class, as should the Assault's breastplates be interchangeable with any class using the Mark X Tacticus Armor, such as Tactical.
These changes would allow for significantly more player customization, add considerable value to the Season Pass, and bring Space Marine II closer in-line with Warhammer 40,000 lore, being as the primary cosmetic distinction between classes should be their armor type and unique items in the form of wargear.
