The Vanguard class already has the mouth piece of the primaris helm as a cosmetic, and i think it would a worthy addition to our ultra marines, seeing that the base helms can canonically detach in that manner. this would allow more diversity between the gear of our fellow astartes and provides a middle ground  for those of us who wants to show off our augments and battle scars without committing to a fully un-helmeted look.
