Well, being able to change the FOV is an essential and always requested feature for basically every game and specially for console ports. I am well aware that for a console a fixed FOV is beneficial to frame rates. PC players though do adjust their games do their liking and therefore need certain options. The narrow FOV of console games is nearly every time the first thing changed - or asked for. Further another option that is getting more common these days is HUD elements ( health bars, etc. ...) being closer to the center of it's axis on the screen. Ultra wide monitor players greatly benefit from this due to the screens often being a meter in lengh. Like this it is easy to miss things in its corners. Giving players those options often distinguish a game from being a good or bad console port to PC and are also the "easier" features implemented that make for a good rating of a game. I therefore hope that those can still get implemented for a day 1 patch. Giving players on PC "Options" is never a bad thing i believe.

Hello, it's possible to change the FOV for all screens, including ultra wide, since patch 6.0. There are no plans to adjust the HUD at the moment, as we're concentrating on other, higher-priority issues, but we're noting the idea.

At this point they just not adding FOV out of spite because they want to save some hours on coding it.... It cant be that hard because they have it in other games, and there were literal mods for it, which they blocked now.... retarded

please add fov sliders

There are multiple ways to tell of incoming attacks, not only seeing the enemy insight. you have your hearing senses, Whenever you see the light-blue indicator ring or hear the pinging noise, press the parry button immediately and you're pretty much guaranteed to deflect, or even kill, whatever's coming your way.

Regardless of that. why are you hugging walls in-game to get your screen all blocked up, like come on now dude. This game shouldn't be that hard for you to learn or get used to. The games been out for about 6 months now, and still PC players often complain most about the perceived unfair advantage console players have in-game due to "aim assist" features, which can make it easier to target opponents, while also sometimes criticizing console players for having lower graphical fidelity and fewer customization options compared to PC gaming.

Most xbox players now days use wide screen monitors for gaming, so the fact that PC players can't learn new playing mechanics or understand a new leaning curve is sad. BIG ISSUE for them and they want to FIX ASAP. I see focus entertainment specifically state that they have more important things to fix and tweak, and PC players only take up the development time for fixing the game simply trying to satisfy every little issue they complain about.

Ultra wide monitors have features related to curvature which can impact perceived FOV, most standard monitors do not have a physical setting to directly adjust field of view. So to add the fov slider specifically for wide screen support is irrelevant.

Bro you're tweaking 5 months ago. I currently and at launch used a 30 inch monitor with my xbox one x and Focus entertainment has delivered one of the best third person rpgs out there as of now. Regardless of consoles or monitors. I currently have 7 days and 15 hours of gameplay since launch, not as much compared to elder wh40k fans but enough to give it one of the best ratings here on focus together.

Everything you said is your own personal bs, sure people can comment and back up this comment on this lame post of an idea that was already mentioned to be brought into the game at a later date. You're simply trying to make yourself happy by suggesting fov settings and motion sickness customers, things you think other pc players like you may need or care about. It's not hard to agree but it's hard to diss other console players and get away with it.

reason 1: accessibility is at its fullest as of launch, more than you could wish for on pc in regards to settings options. Xbox on the other hand has never needed but has always wanted Fov sliders. But we don't b as much as pc players. We adapt to new learning curves in games and dont whine about the settings like every pc player does on every pc game ever. If its not the fov its the anti alyasing, frames, god rays, or just whatever gets them attention on their bad gameplay. You're merely just sussing xbox players, because you cant cut it playing on pc.

Reason 2: if you have motion sickness, get checked.. see a doctor. Figure out why you shouldn't be infront of a monitor and think about it. Instead of trying to make yourself happy about a game that'll never fit your eyesight or brain strain capacity. "be more human, stop having motion sickness" ~ Andrew T

Reason 3: ultra wide obsession leads to no love life, and life in your parents house. If you're setting your limits to your monitors limits you're not going to get too far. Gaming is skill and learning new ways to play not fixing it to your exact preferences. Sure it helps with comfortability or at least makes you feel big and bad on your 300 dollar monitor on your 200 dollar desk using your 100 dollar keyboard and mouse. But when it comes to skill you'll fumble and blame fov, sun glare, frame rates etc..

Reason 4: they never lost customers and will only make millions more instead, gaining millions and millions in months is very very impressive and almost unbelievable. Focus entertainment has delivered and continues to deliver to fans of all console systems exactly what they interpreted in regards to space marine 2. So no they would never lose customers or players if they choose to ignore fov for a few months.

Reason 5: has nothing to do with lore kid, you must have permanent peripheral vision instead of 20-20 if you really really need that extra wide screen. Your head be like < > < > < > < > < > < > < > Then you'll complain about everything being spread out or a delay between frames or think of something anything to b about just to make yourself happy.

Now with the oncoming soft-ban on modding this is needed even more. Otherwise you'd be playing solo or trying to find friends for a private lobby every time to be able to run the FOV fix mod.

At least FOV slider for campaign and operations. For PvP there might be some arguments for some people that it gives an advantage there. Although I don't think so but my opinion is not really relevant for PvP since I have 0 interest to play that game mode.

I don't like the UI positioning. They are not in the corners, but still at the same spot without ultra wide

Please add FOV support - playing at 32:9 is motion sickness inducing and feels way too cramped.
Not having FOV slider in this day and age is ridiculously. Simply supporting the resolution is not enough of "ultrawide support"

I think they mentioned having ultrawide support - so this might be in the game already.  I don't know, but I definitely support it if it isn't.

Still waiting on FOV, at the very least available for PvE. Camera is too tight and you often can't see incoming attacks. Worse still, if you get too close to a wall, it can be impossible to tell what is going on. Please, FOV adjustment for PvE.

please developers, i cannot play this game with the normal fov, recent patch broke the mod that was giving 103 fov and i just cannot stop getting motion sickness. think of this as an accessibility issue, the game plays great when you can see the rest of the screen.

Yes, really need an FOV slider. It's an accessibility issue for those of us who experience motion sickness.

Would love to see FOV sliders in this game. I feel far too close to the shoulder, but it's a great game regardless.

Though I am an advent of that 99% of the time.  I would prefer FoV and probably dont need the UI sliders in this game since everything is kind of central ... give me that ultra wide bb

Sadly again my concern was proven right. NO FOV slider, NO Ultrawide support and that's just what i managed to find out so far. ... atm. this looks like yet another bad console port with a FOV of 73.3 to keep those FPS number lovers on console happy...
