If I can be truthful with you…

I would rather have a blank, generic, holy golden yellow banner than the iteration we have now because at least that wouldn’t be as distracting as playing a Blood Raven and planting down the Ultramarine Second Company banner.

Even if it was just color + chapter emblem, that would be perfect!

I agree.  It definitely distracts from the immersion.

Plus, adding new flags to the game just expands what they can offer on the Season Pass.  Seems like a win-win.

just hope we can receive sth special from the champion custom as we have paid for them

Definitely something other than the Ultramarine flag when you are playing a different chapter.

Even something as simple as just being able to change the main symbol and the primary color of the banner would work wonders.

When the chapter champion packs are released in the future, they should come with a/some chapter specific banner(s) for the Bulwark. The banner deployed should be selectable by the Bulwark class in the armory. GW has TONS of pre-made banners for all of the major chapters, so it should be pretty easy to scan those in and make the banner a selectable item in the armor section.

Fully agree either just having a banner for each legion as a preset or let us change the color and symbol only. Make it as easy as possible for yourselves. Have to say this is double needed too if the Chaos Bulwark is just placing down UltraMarine Banners in pvp will be confusing as hell while also not feeling right when playing Chaos

I don't think it's any more difficult to have a full banner as it is to have one that has color and symbol - other than the art creation (which is relatively easy).  The code and added UI to point to and render a specific image is where the real lift is.

this seems like the best fix that could be quickly implemented, definitely more immersive than the ultramar icon

This shouldn't be marked as "nice to have" by the devs honestly. This is an oversight that shouldn't of been implemented this way in the first place, along with characters names and accents being specifically Ultramarine based. If they're letting us paint and choose our chapters, everything should of been designed to fit the specific chapters and I'm pretty surprised GS themselves let them do this. Running around as a Space Wolf with a roman sounding name and no beards, let alone none of the appropriate markings or armour customization, big let down.
