Mode Name: Unification (PvPvE)

Overview:
Unification is a large-scale PvPvE mode where players battle for planetary dominance as either Loyalist Space Marines or Chaos Space Marines, while the Tyranids—controlled by advanced AI—act as a third, ever-growing threat. Players are backed by NPC Guardsmen and Daemons (for Chaos) or Imperial Guardsmen (for Loyalists), creating a warzone filled with constant combat and shifting objectives.

Game Mode Structure

  • Player Count: 20–30 players (10–15 per faction)
  • Factions:
    • Loyalist Space Marines (Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Imperial Fists, etc.)
    • Chaos Space Marines (Black Legion, Night Lords, Word Bearers, etc.)
    • Tyranids (Controlled by AI, evolving threat)
  • Objective: Secure strongholds, complete faction-specific missions, and survive against the Tyranid swarm.

Gameplay Features

1. The Ever-Growing Tyranid Threat (PvE Element)

  • AI-Controlled Tyranid Swarm: The Tyranids are a relentless force that attacks both factions indiscriminately.
  • Hive Mind Adaptation: The longer a match lasts, the more powerful the Tyranids become, evolving into stronger units.
  • Hive Nodes: Players must destroy Tyranid hives before they spread across the battlefield, or risk facing massive hordes.
  • Elite Tyranids Appear Over Time: Carnifexes, Hive Tyrants, and Trygons emerge as the battle intensifies.

2. Faction-Specific Gameplay (PvP Element)

Loyalist Space Marines (PvP & PvE)

  • Objective: Purge the Chaos filth and eradicate the Tyranid infestation.
  • Support Units: Backed by NPC Imperial Guardsmen who provide cover fire, set up defenses, and deploy vehicles.
  • Reinforcements: Can call in orbital strikes, Dreadnoughts, and air support.
  • Hero Unit: After completing key objectives, one player can temporarily become a Captain or wield an Imperial Relic for powerful buffs.

Chaos Space Marines (PvP & PvE)

  • Objective: Corrupt the world, destroy the Imperium, and harness the Tyranid swarm for Chaos.
  • Support Units: Backed by NPC Traitor Guardsmen and lesser daemons who fight alongside them.
  • Rituals & Corruption: Can perform dark rituals at key locations to summon Greater Daemons or open small warp rifts.
  • Hero Unit: One player can ascend into a Daemon Prince after accumulating enough corruption points.

3. Dynamic Battlefield

  • Shifting Frontlines:

    • If Loyalists hold territory long enough, Imperial fortifications (bunkers, turrets) are built.
    • If Chaos holds an area, daemonic corruption spreads, creating warp anomalies.
    • If neither faction stops the Tyranids, they will overrun both, creating massive Hive Structures that spawn elite Tyranids.
  • AI vs. AI Battles:

    • Imperial Guardsmen fight Traitor Guardsmen, making the warzone feel alive.
    • Tyranids attack everyone, creating moments where both factions may have to briefly team up to survive before resuming their war.

4. Summons & Special Events

  • Loyalists Can Summon:

    • Dreadnoughts – Powerful NPC allies with heavy firepower.
    • Terminator Squads – Temporarily reinforce key locations.
    • Orbital Bombardments – Devastating but slow to activate.
  • Chaos Can Summon:

    • Greater Daemons – Unleash a Bloodthirster or Lord of Change onto the battlefield.
    • Daemon Engines – Spawn Defilers, Maulerfiends, or even a Hell Drake.
    • Warp Storms – Briefly disrupt Loyalist reinforcements.
  • Tyranid Escalation:

    • If the battle drags on, the Hive Mind adapts, spawning Hive Tyrants, Trygons, and Swarmlords.
    • If left unchecked, the Tyranids will consume the planet, forcing both factions to evacuate and losing the match.

5. Victory Conditions

  • Loyalists Win If:

    • They purge the Chaos forces and destroy all major Tyranid hive nodes.
    • They hold out long enough for an Exterminatus to be authorized, killing all Tyranids (and Chaos).
  • Chaos Wins If:

    • They corrupt key locations and summon a Demon Prince or Greater Daemon to shatter Loyalist defenses.
    • They perform a massive warp ritual, dragging the world into the Warp.
  • Tyranids Win If:

    • They consume enough biomass to become unstoppable, triggering a planetary assimilation event.
    • If neither faction successfully contains them, the Hive Mind claims total victory.

Additional Features

  • Squad-Based Progression: Earn XP to unlock unique armor, weapons, and abilities based on performance.
  • Chaos & Loyalist Sub-Factions: Players can align with different legions/chapters, unlocking unique abilities.
  • Dynamic Map Evolution: Each match plays out differently depending on faction control and Tyranid activity.

Final Thoughts

Unification is a true Warhammer 40K warzone experience, blending PvP combat with a relentless AI-driven Tyranid swarm. Players must battle each other while adapting to the Tyranids' increasing strength, creating intense moments of survival, conquest, and tactical decision-making.
