One of the sections that could be expanded the most in Atlas Fallen are the weapons, since some variety is missing. Here are some ideas:

-Sword and Shield. What is a Knight without this, nothing! This can come together, or separately:

  1. Together, they form a gameplay based on parry and counterattack. Parry's ability is transformed, making it last a little longer and allowing basic attacks to be blocked permanently by holding down the block button. If you parry, the counterattack will be powerful thanks to the sword, enhancing playing this way. This set has low impact, medium momentum and range gain, and medium high attack speed. His statistics are not very high since he relies a lot on counterattacking and parrys builds.
  2. But they can also be separate weapons:

-A shield, like Captain America for example! This weapon would only be melee, with close range combos             similar to the capitan. Carrying this weapon powers our parry as before, making the duration longer and             allowing attacks to be blocked permanently. Its attack speed and range are low, its impact is medium and           its momentum gain is very high.

-The sword, an ideal medium weapon for this type of game. The statistics are all of medium quality, since            this weapon is very versatile. But his frag attack is very powerful, and he cuts through the sand like the                mighty Odin from Final Fantasy XVI.

-I miss some ranged weapon. For this, magic can come into action. This weapon is based on shooting blasts of sand, allowing you to keep your distance and use sand as a weapon, something that is missing. It has a medium attack speed, low impact and momentum generation, and very high range. It must be balanced so as not to break the game, but this weapon also allows us to attack while surfing the sand or running in combat. A comparison could be the basic energy bursts that we all know from Dragon Ball. His frag attack is very powerful, with a big ball of sand or something like that haha.

-And for now, finally, a slow weapon for the most daring in the challenges. Combat in this game is fast-paced, so a weapon like this adds an extra layer of difficulty. It can be a great hammer or sword, with slow combos, little momentum generation, medium range but great impact. The frag attack is very powerful, slamming the weapon into the ground and dealing area damage. Plus, with other fast weapons in the game, combining it with a slow one could be a lot of fun!

The three weapons in the base game are very good and it's a very good job since each one feels different, but I hope that some of this can be used to give more variety to the game or lead towards a bigger sequel.
