EDIT: Still experiencing this issue after Patch 4.5
Please help me resolve this issue:
I purchased Space Marine 2 through Steam on October 20, 2024.
The issue began this past week, around November 1, 2024.
I constantly get disconnected from the server with either Error 140 or Error 142. I can barely play one game now, making it unplayable.
Sometimes a restart feels like it fixes it for at most 1 game.
Playing on PC with cabled internet, 700-900mb download, 100mb upload.
What I've done so far:
- My in-game settings are set to low
- I have disabled Crossplay
- I have made sure that Space Marine 2 is allowed in Windows Firewall
- I have flushed my DNS and reset my IP, etc..
- I have verified the integrity of the game files
- I have disabled Steam Overlay
- I have disabled cloud saves
- I have made sure that my timezone settings, "set time zone automatically" and "set time automatically" are both on in Settings > Time & Language > Date and time.
- a friend had me enter "-dx12" in the Launch Options
Please let me know if there's anything else that can be done.
Thank you for your time,
Sean
