Since yesterday (21-01-2025), the game always crashes during the loading screen after pressing "Continue" in the main menu and I am unable to play the game. I had been playing until then without any issues.
I was trying different versions of Proton, including 9.0-4, GE 9-13, GE 9-20, GE 9-23 and current Proton Experimental, without any success or difference in the error.
Where there some changes on the server-side? Because I didn't change anything on my side (neither hardware nor software), which would result in such a crash or which may be the root of this issue.
I am (or better "was" by now) running Space Marine 2 on Arch Linux with "SteamDeck=1 %command%", currently with the following hardware and versions:
OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 6.12.10-arch1-1
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 @ 120 Hz
DE: GNOME 47.3
WM: Mutter
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D 6-Core @ 12x 4.757GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
RAM: 32 GB
