I have suggested adding the option of DISABLING AI BOTS/COMPANIONS for PvE modes….
I’m just thinking about the scenario of playing as a space marine scout, using camo, to take a more stealthy approach in the level. But having 2 AI squad mates running around like goons might break the immersion…
Be nice to have the option to turn them off if you want.

AGREE.I can understand that there is such an idea because the bots of the current version were sucks. And this options can meet some players who want to challenge themselves. But I think the more crucial issue is to fix and correct these bots' behavior, although it is not easy.

I think it’s more than that.

Being able to turn off bots, firstly allows for I think more coherent combat experience.

I feel the combine this game can get a little bit chaotic, but not in a good way.

What I mean is is that sometimes it’s not entirely clear what the hell is going on, the combat just gets a bit messy, it’s not clear who’s shooting who, the AI then steal your kills. And it all just gets a bit muddled.

So that’s one thing, and I think to be able to go it alone would make for a far more coherent and exciting combat experience.

Secondly, as I noted above, then give some of the classes a chance to shine further. Especially the recon Marine with his ability to go invisible.

I think that would become far more satisfying to use that class if you could go it alone.

I think the challenge this can provide to truly go solo or for a 2 man only team is enough of a reason to implement it. Plus it shouldn't take much work to add.
