This game need balance, and I don't mean weaken those powerful weapons

Now Bolter is really weak, they can not suppress enemies any more, so they have no advantage compared to other weapons. Especially heavy bolter, I do not think it is 'heavy'. Besides, the shield enemies are really annoying, not only because they are hard to crash down, but also because it seems that they will not be hurt in several seconds after their shield is destroyed. Seldom people play levels which have Tzeentch enemies because they are far more disgusting than Tyranids. And Assault class is too weak, compared to other classes. Most time they just jump into enemies and melt down. Let alone the fact that some people complain there are some traits not effective, especially for assault.No matter what, I hope production team can treat the balance problem carefully, because I have played Helldivers 2 and I experience how its production team's arrogant destroy it. I am really excited when I see 40k model minion begin to move, and I wish this game will not be messed up.

Besides, melee weapons are also useless. Most of the time they are just tools to block enemies' attack. I would like to run away and use pistol to fight, instead of using melee weapons and bless I could survive.

Thunder hammer should be the most powerful weapon in the game, only be outclassed by Sniper and Charge Heavy Plasma. The DPS of the Thunder Hammer is laughable. Meanwhile you have Meltas clearing the map and instantly regenerating contested hp.

For the melee weapons; Power Fist should obviously be the most single target destructive. That thing is literally an anti-tank weapon. It ought to be far better against, say, a Carnifex, than a machete could ever hope to be. In terms of massive single target damage it should be king. Currently the Combat Knife is pretty much the best melee weapon simply by virtue of being very fast and actually having better damage than much slower weapons in addition to its exceptional attack speed. 


The knife can stay FAST, but something is wrong when its damage on a hit is remotely comparable to a much slower Power Fist (single target) or Thunder Hammer (area of effect). And then you have the 'fast' weapons; the combat knife (single target) and the Chainsword and Power Sword (cleave). Also it is peculiar that the defining characteristic of the Chainsword (the chainsaw rev) requires an advanced perk to get rather than being standard.


As for ranged weapons; most of them feel very weak. With a few standouts. Bolters especially should be pretty punchy guns and currently do not seem that way. Making them hit much harder and having a much slower and more deliberate reload is probably called for.

Any enemy taking multiple headshots with a bolter should at least flinch, canceling their attack animation.  This would go a long way to making bolters useful to interrupt enemies or help your allies locked in combat.

There is a nuance with bolter weapons, which is that most bolter weapons are for tactical, and he has auspex for +275% damage (with the right abilities). But although other classes have bolter weapons, they are bad COMPARED to plasma, melta or laser rifle. But I disagree about the heavy bolter. It is really strong. Even on the new difficulty.
