Close doors to cheaters

It is known to everyone that cheaters exploit the features of games.

A very common thing is for games to offer a bonus for headshots, and cheaters use auto-aim for this.

Removing this feature on characters who wear highly armored and vacuum-sealed helmets would not be strange at all, rather the strange thing is that it exists now.

It's more that if it penetrates any part of the armor the head is very vulnerable.

Also, headshots are great.

Cheating is an active action.

Taking action against cheaters is a reactive attitude

Eliminating possibilities of cheating is a preventive measure

Wouldn't it be better to remove cheaters rather than head shots from the game ?

I guess we can take away grenades as well.
Seeing how people use cheats to spam infinite grenades.
But I don't know what we can take away to stop people from flying though.

I almost forgot.
We better remove our legs as well.
I've seen clips of people using cheats to move at incredible speeds.

Exactly valuable valuable things attract thieves, certain bonuses in the game attract cheaters.

Limiting certain mechanics in a game would make cheats less relevant.

The cheaters would not obtain relevant benefits, causing them to have no interest in this game and go bother somewhere else.

The mechanics of grenades, flying or high rof weapons are more necessary for a cheater than for other players.

What makes you say so ? Why are you speaking on behalf of "other players" ? So, what you wanna do is; remove grenades, headshots and jet packs from the game becasue of cheaters ? This is straight up insane. Devs will never do that.

True, I can't speak on behalf of "the players," but a survey would be brave.

Sacrificing a bit of playability in exchange for containing cheaters. Just as in life, freedom is sacrificed in exchange for security. The web should not be a refuge for people who come to break the rules. First you have to limit the possibility of infractions being committed, and then increase the corrective measures to be applied to those people.

Another day we will speak on behalf of the players and the Devs ;)

Oh my god, what kind of life are you talking about, something like North Korea or China perhaps XD I haven't heard of any shooter game removing headshots or grenades to limit the hackers. Sorry but what you propose is just dumb, how can you have a proper shooter without headshots mechanics or grenades - I think you are just trolling.

Faced with a specific problem, I am proposing specific measures, in an objective, analytical and respectful way.

Your last message is only a value judgment, but don't worry, I'm not trying to convince you, not even your approval, just that some third person, involved with the game, reads these lines and makes them think.

I think they should work on finding the ways to police the cheaters rather than dial back the skill of playing the game, it's already fairly straightforward.

Along with the previous form of cheating mentioned, can we also try to make safeguards against people who just try to run through the levels and not fight any of the npcs, in order to level up and get requisition points. Missions with players like this ruin the purpose of co-op play, as well as waste time matchmaking, potentially changing classes to accommodate the team structure, wasted loading time, and the inability to complete missions due to these antics.

This is a personal decision. Rushing missions is literally the fastest way to grind out ranks and equipment. The only thing I could think of that would incentivize fighting everything is make enemies drop necessary materials.

But again, some people are just rushing to an ammo box, because it's much easier to have a sustained fight without worrying about bullets.

True but that ruins the whole point of even playing the game.  If that is your approach you might as well just Pay-To-Play at that point, those individuals don't really want to earn their ranks or truly test their skills. It becomes very annoying when your playing with "level 20 +" players but they can't even make it out of a substantial level mission.....

I disagree with the thesis of your statement. Making it out is finishing the mission. That is earning the level. If it were kill 300 enemies as an objective, sure.

I accept your answer and your position on this subject matter. However, those type of tactics ruin the immersion and experience for players like myself, similarly to how cheaters irritate you. Both antics ruin the experience for others, but who can decide which is more egregious and deserves the doors to be closed on them?

I mean, there isn't a right way to do it. If I'm teamed up with people who wanna fight, I'll fight.

But neither you nor the other is doing something wrong, just a preference.

True that works, I believe communication of a teams expectations and goals is important when playing together.
