Why doesn't Sniper get access to Marksman Bolt Carbine? (Space Marine 2 PVP)

The Sniper class gets access to an ultra close range option in the regular Bolt Carbine (SMG) but Tactical actually gets both Marksman Bolt Carbine & Stalker Bolt Rifle??? Why use Sniper at all if you can counter or completely fill the roll with Tactical? I also read that the Vanguard class is based on the Reiver class from 40k lore & in fact they used the regular Bolt Carbine, not Snipers... Why not switch out the Bolt Carbine for Sniper with Marksman Bolt Carbine & leave the Vanguard with it's proper ultra close range option? This is just one of a few balance issues I see in Space Marine 2. Overall, it's a great game although I disagree with certain PVP decisions.

Hate to be that guy, but ya kinda just showed you don't play the game. The Sniper does get the Marksman Bolt Carbine, since it is an Artificer/Relic variant of the Bolt Carbine. Also, if we're basing it on lore, they shouldn't even have the Stalker Bolt Rifle, since the actual models can have the Instigator, Fusil, or Sniper.

Hate to be that guy, not to be that guy back I guess but the thread is titled Space Marines 2 PVP.... Marksman Bolt Carbine should be the Snipers Close to Medium range option, not a Bolt SMG that is extremely annoying to deal with for most players currently. Pvp will die off in replay-ability with a dynamic like this that doesn't make sense. Getting blitzed by two Snipers with Bolt SMG's is unrealistic & it undermines the ability to position yourself for Marksmanship instead of straight up DPS which isn't even the focus of a Sniper Class.

Also, "Not to be that guy" I came for honest & creative discussions. Not a patronizing comment that adds no honest critique to the current PVP meta... This is a competitive balancing PVP based thread not PVE sir! Why doesn't Sniper get the Instigator & Marksman Carbine for weapon options in PVP? These are the discussions I'm trying to have here, not patronizing down talk as if I'm some rando who doesn't have a confirmed 500+ hours in game....

I don't play pvp (yet) but I just wanna say I'm perplexed it doesn't get it in pvp when it does have it in operations. I also don't agree why they chose to give the Instigator to Vanguard when it was clearly designed for sniping, but I can guess why since Occulus handles the same as the standard bolt carbine.

Great observation. The Instigator should be for the Sniper as well, IMO. The Sniper paired with the SMG seems totally out of place, almost like a cop out to compensate for lack of close range options. The Marksman Bolt Carbine or Instigator would go well in the Sniper Class for more options and game longevity.
