What is going on with PVP/Eternal War mode? Other than a small footnote of a mention in the latest patch, absolutely ZERO attention has been given to this mode. 3 whole maps at launch, which at this point are severely played to death, and now I can't seem to find a single lobby, regardless of game type, with a ping less than 100. I get MAYBE 1 match with a decent ping out of maybe 20 now. Typical lobbies are anywhere from 100 to 300 ping. Why?!?!?! I'm on West Coast USA PST, are you telling me that this mode is so dead on WC USA that a decent lobby can't be made anymore? Why is the PVP mode being treated as a red-headed stepchild and afterthought? I know there's 1 whole new map coming with the DA update, but come on, this is just getting ridiculous. Just the 1?!?!?! Wow. Then there's the issue with cheaters on top of everything else. Bringing in Volkite pistols when they're not enabled or balanced for PVP yet. Assaults with unlimited jumps and grenades. I mean it's rarer to see now that there's hardly anyone playing, but you still see them. Completely unacceptable. This mode needs A LOT of love and attention and its pretty awful that it's being treated in this manner. 

Honestly what we really need is 6 player squads and a game mode that allows you to get downed so you can revive or execute.

I feel similar. 
Although I have'nt seen any cheaters for weeks at this point.

My issue is match making; More than half the games are very unbalanced or I'm playing 4v6 and people start to leave. Sure the game finds new people who join games in progress but at that point you are already down 160 to 20 in Capture and Control and the game is pretty much over (so they leave again making people just afk until match is over).

With a dwindling player base I'm afraid the "fix" to PvP in january might come too late.. could bring people back if it's solid, hope is still there !

Got in 1 Annihilation match this morning, then couldn't get another game in any mode for the next 10 minutes and gave up. (Steam)

They've done a great job of largely ignoring their PVP player base and are focused solely on awards season right now. I don't expect to see any PVP balancing or love for a long time, and when it does come, it will be half-assed and cobbled together.

look at the road map, when does it say something about PVP? 2025.  That’s when they will do something for PVP; there’s no content yet, the studio is very slow in releasing content and doesn’t seem to be doing a good job of balancing the existing modes that they consider priority PVE. In 2025, I’m generally planning an improvement for PVP, so there will be a reason to return, after all, there are a lot of other games​

Speaking for only myself, a footnote on a roadmap is a piss poor means of communicating. Especially when it cannot possibly be them overlooking all of the discourse around their lack of communication. From piss poor responses to the early server issues to now, Focus has built a reputation of ignoring their players UNLESS it's their PVE players. Can't fault anyone for thinking PVP is dead. In it's current state, it is. This game JUST came out and I can't run 2 or 3 pvp matches without recycling the same players. Focus has a serious problem on their hands and they are choosing to cover their eyes to it and ignore everyone.

You want them to go full stop on PVP, a big selling point to prior players, because you enjoy Operations more? 

Yeah, no thanks. I'd rather they grind to a halt on that and ignore every single player wanting any sort of improvement in Operations in favor of focusing on PVP. Much like has happened to us PVP only people.

Now...if the devs want to be good business people and just PUT OUT A STATEMENT ON PVP LIKE A GROWING PORTION OF THEIR AUDIENCE IS ASKING FOR ... I'm in.
