Xbox player here, it appears in a recent change or patch you can no longer run into the square after launching a match to force yourself to host in order to always get the class you want. What this has inadvertently accomplished is that matchmaking now pretends to “search” for a game then eventually times out and says you are “disconnected”. 

Issue has been ongoing all weekend. Unless you instantly find a match you ultimately time out/“disconnect”. There is no proper matchmaking .

I am seeing the same issue as well since the weekend.

Matchmaking is now impossible off-peak hours because matches no longer initiate.
