I have 14 days 16 hours in the game. (About 350 hours give or take)

I ONLY play bulwark (hate all you want I LIKE bulwark). I finished all my lethals with Bulwark. Yes including obelisk.

Hell I wrote small guides on the clads in the subreddits

The new update to fencing weapons was unnecessary. Unwanted. Unneeded

It makes bulwark feel clumsy and oafish. You took the fun out of it.  You took the power fantasy out of it. All to "uplift" block weapons which are USELESS to us as Bulwarks.  

Was it necessary? Could you not just have buffed the Block weapons with the new mechanics without fucking over the fencing weapons? 

which BTW received NO DAMAGE BUFF even tho your update premise said "we buffed melee damage across the board"

Yeah, they apparently stealth nerfed the parry window for fencing weapons. This needs to be reverted immediately. Block is bad for more reasons than just the damage. Thus but to block is a step in the right direction for it, but I still don't think it's likely to be used much unless they do something like finally decide to let us dodge in melee. It's a ridiculous restriction to begin with. Bock is still just so much of a "come and beat my face" variant.

The changes they made to block weapons should be applied to the Bulwark's shield (regardless of weapon type used). Bulwark should be able to make use of the "prefect block" simply by normally blocking in block stance or by shield-bashing when you would normally hit block for a perfect block.

Nerfing the fencing and balanced parry AoE was boneheaded and they should revert that. Buffing a mechanic nobody used at the expense of nerfing something everyone used is not a good move.
