Here's the story on how we reached the latest and future weapon balance.


I. We had Strong weapons: Melta rifle/bomb, grenade launcher - Super cars, V12/V16. The rest of guns - Prius, I4

II. Afer several patches, you managed to Nerf'd the F*ck out of those Strong weapons, made them - sporty cars, V6. Also boosted those I4's with the smallest turbos, made a small difference in power, but not by much

III. Nerf'd fencing weapon again, since balance / block weapon perks are un-usable

IV. Planning to nerf grenade launcher AGAIN, bring down this sporty V8 to a mini boosted I4


Grenade launcher is the ONLY weapon that doesn't get its grenade ammo filled with big Ammo cache. I had to FIGHT teammates for executions, every 30 seconds when I play this weapon.


I don't get the idea of why you want to make all weapons an regulard daily Honda Accord level.

Aren't owning and driving a Super car FUN?! 


In Patch 5.0, you mentioned:

The other big outstanding problem that we have is the Grenade Launcher. There are quite a few bugs/misconfigurations that make it the way it is.

  1. Due to a bug, a certain Perk restores its full Ammo when it shouldn’t. - Emperor's Vengance. It's working as intended perfectly for all Tactical weapons. Unsless you were referring to something else
  2. Due to a misconfiguration on our side, its Artificer and Relic versions deal 4x more damage than the Master-crafted version, which was not intended. - You can simply buff the damage of Master-crafted version, since that's the only version dealing "low" damage
  3. Due to a bug, Perks that increase Auspex Scan damage stack buffs inconsistently. Normally all damage stacks buffs additively, thus providing consistent and predictable results. This bug results in crazy damage numbers with Auspex Scan Perks depending on the order they were activated. This is why bosses get erased by Grenade Launchers with certain builds. - In that video, teammate's Heavy Plasma Incinerator also chunks bosses health when the Auspex is up. It's not a valid testing since it did not have a controlled group to begin with. Meaning this Tactical grenade launcher user should have 2 bots on his team, he'll be the only one dealing damage on boss.

Playing with words doesn't justify your intension of nerfing all fun weapons.


You should at least make a poll on Steam for legit Space Marine 2 onwers to vote for nerf/buff on certain weapons.


I used to have 30+ friends online everyday, grinding in this game.

They quitted since they finished leveling "super car"/"fun" weapons.

Nowadays, I barely have anyone playing this game post weapon/character nerfs, it's not fun anymore.

I'm the only one left playing due to the love of this game, with less than 300 hours of playtime, I finally finished ALL PvE/PvP weapon and character leveling.


If you keep balancing and nerfing at this pace. I will simply quit. Easy as that.

You know you need new comers to keep this game running, I used to recommend Space Marine 2 to all my other friends on joining. But I may change my mind.

Agreed. They keep fixing whats not broken instead of buffing whats lame. Messing with our muscle memory while they are at it.
