Remember when about a week after the game's release, the devss released a QA post describing the current problems in PvE and PvP mode? I remember it too

I also remember that the developers said that they were aware that Bastion and Heavy were too strong (especially in holding situations), and that Shock Grenade was clearly dominant and too strong in PvP, and that melee was simply ineffective. I thought back then, "yeah, these problematic moments are immediately visible to the naked eye, it's strange that it made it to the release, but they pointed them out in their article, they see them too, that's great, excellent, so they'll fix it soon." And how wrong I was.
Yes, they probably see it, but they don't give a shit, that's the truth.

Of all the elements described then, we only recently saw the spawn protection system and nothing else in the past three months. And we are not talking about cosmetic elements (which have already been added), not about new content that requires development, but about the most literal balance changes, without which the game simply cannot be played properly and which are not that difficult to implement.

Why was it necessary to talk about changes if you are focused exclusively on PvE? I understand that most likely PvP was introduced on the principle of "it was in SM1" or implemented at the request of the publisher and was of no interest to the team (this was always evident, let's be honest, by the number of maps and modes), but why pretend that you care?
Why give hope to those who read patch notes every time in the hope of seeing at least some changes for this mode?

I sincerely want to love this game, but while the developers are simply lying and ignoring a significant part of the community - I can't
