Is anyone else having hard time with this mission on 'lethal' difficulty?

I have pretty much one shotted all other 'lethal' ops with randoms (with my Bulwark) but this one is something else. I have tried running it 7 times but people keep dying, there are just too many enemies and too much ranged damage all over the place. I think the difficulty of this mission is way harder than any other mission on 'lethal'. Not one group has been able to make it out of the tomb in all  these runs, its just awful.

Is anyone else stuck on this mission or does anyone has any tips?

I play at random times so its really difficult for me to play with the people I know, that's why I mostly play with randoms but this mission seems like its not designed with randoms in mind or may be perhaps  they should get rid of either one of 'fusion core' or 'skull escort' part,  too many enemies spawn during  this part including multiple 'Terminus'  level enemies.

If you have a friend that is decent with a plasma tactical and another ranged DPS, it would make the last part doable in 1-2 puzzle cycles if they save their scan for the heldrake.

I think the operation is not harder than the others in itself. The biggest problem ( at least from my personal experience) is that many team members wastes too much time on the second part , where the dragon is flying and spits fire on the road . Instead of just running at the right time and skip the enemies , they just stand there trying to kill everything , resulting in a wipe for them and forces the sole survivor in performing a miracle in order to save the day. So maybe its just a matter of better knowledge of how some parts of it works

This mission is indeed the greatest challenge! be resilient, build a strategy and overcome brother!

A decent amount is luck of the draw on what spawns when. I've had runs where we easily march through the first two tomb dives, and others where its just mayhem. My recommendation is don't waste time trying to kill all the enemies in the main area, continue moving from space to space. As you do it you'll: A) get things like stims and armor packs, and B) force the enemy to fight in choke points. Fighting in the main area is VERY CHALLENGING, too many ways for enemies to attack and shoot at you (little sniper bastards). by going into a crypt you can force everything to come through a doorway then pummel them in concentrated fire.

Its hard, but the hardest to me was the Atreus, that was just unfair at many points and theres no way to control the environment at the last part, you're just getting shot at from every angle.

I have beaten it many times on lethal with randoms.  It is hard and can be a challenge.  Lots of good advice already here posted so far. Bulwarks are good to have on that operation.  Nice to have that pocket heal when needed.  If you have a sniper or heavy on the team keep them healthy.  Even though the plasma pistol is really good I think I would actually recommend the neo pistol for bulwark for that operation. It annihilates whole packs of cultists and good against Tzaangor. Also good ammo economy if you find out during stretches of that operation you are running out of ammo(like the bridges).  It's also a better weapon vs those terminus enemies you are talking about.

Ok so I finally did it (as GL Tactical with a Bulwark and a Heavy) and i really think the spawns in this mission need to be fixed. At several occassions I have had 3 or more Extremis with several Majoris spawns in a single wave and even if we were clearing them quick sometimes the next wave appeared as we were still clearing the first wave (way too quick). It was crazy. Other lethal ops. are nothing like this.

Some of the enemies you can run past ( but that's not very marine-like) but then again there are parts where you can't run past and you get broken spawns (e.g. once i got 3 sorcerers, 2 of those missile shooting melee extremis, 4 disc guys and a bunch of those flame throwing and ranged Majoris along with several snipers and a similar second wave appeared way too quick before we could dispatch the first wave).

Btw Lethal Reliquary is also much much harder than Ruthless Reliquary, I believe no other op. has so much difficulty spike between its Ruthless and Lethal versions.

This was so ridiculous and frustrating, primarily because of these broken spawns.

OR, and hear me out, just running by everything while your team tries to methodically kill their way through means now they are fighting down one member so they go down and the third guy who has 100% put himself into this bad position feels pressured, slips up, and dies.

Running through only works if everyone is on board with it. But I mean... why are you trying to "save time" anyway?

I think that right there is a very key point.  I have been on a lot of teams where one would be doing one thing the others something else and both end up dead.  If everyone is focused on the same thing either fighting or running the whole team can be successful.

i dont think the bridge section is intended to be cleared out. i dont think the dragon passes have anything to do with more stuff spawning in, so when you try to clear an area, then wait for a dragon pass, you're just running the clock on the "director" and its going to spawn stuff on you. for it to have been orchestrated for the players i think would require more time/effort than the devs were willing to put into it.

the correct thing to do is to keep pushing. not ignoring stuff, but fighting as you push together. if you sit there and clear you ARE going to end up fighting more enemies by the end of it and since its an attrition sequence that just isnt ideal
