Buddy, these events are in fact working agaist you. If you unlock everything that there is to unlock you will join our "Sad, bored, drip fed battlebrothers". 

I am so bored having everything unlocked and so sad with perspective of so slooooowlyyyyy added content to this game that I could be leader of this brotherhood.

Believe me, you should be happy that you have something to grind and pray to anything you feel like praying for them not starting another progress-boosting events having so little content in the game... it's acually killing it. 

It's like making homeless guy who didn't eat for a week run a marathon. Yea he will be faster in the finish line than he expects but the finish line also won't be what he expects or hopes for.
