I Love playing with the Assault class. It’s probably my favorite. However, I find that at times (too much to be fun) that I am not able to activate the jump pack. This happens when I want to just target an enemy and it most definitely happens when I’m surrounded by enemies. This freakin sucks! This should not be the case. I have found this to happen with the Bulwark when I’m surrounded by enemies as well, but not really with other classes. 

For the Assault to be an attacking class, I should be able to activate the jump pack at will. I hope Saber can take a look at this and fix this. I Love the game, but I’m starting to get over whelmed by all the bugs that exist. I don’t think there are frequent enough updates to keep me playing. Once per month doesn’t cut it for me. I appreciate when they communicate, but words without action is just potential. I want results not potential.

are you sure you had jetpack charges ready? If no, then this is the cause of you being unable to use it, not being surrounded. 

As for using jetpack while playing Bulwark, there is bigger problem. He doesn't have one. :D

Anyway, I agree on that updates could be more frequent and I would love to see them dropping in faster (especially ones with content). But this piece bothers me:

If you mean you have charges and can't use them - then you are right, you should be able to use them, even being surrounded. I would make exception only for times when you are in mid of execute and distrupt animation.

If you mean you should be able to spam jetpack jumps, then I think you are not right as it would make game pointless.

if there are a lot of enemies around you then you were probably doing some other action when you pressed the jump pack button. if the jump pack key is pressed while another action is playing, then released when that action is finished, then you will do a dash. the only way to cancel that is to do another action like a parry and then release the jump pack key. this is a problem that has been in the game since launch. this game doesnt have very good input buffering, and the fact that you have to hold the jump pack to go up into the air is a bad design decision in the first place

You can jump when surrounded by enemies.  There's even a perk that damages enemies near you when you jump so jumping with tons around you is even better to maximize that damage.
