​I want to but so far I can't. I love the game, otherwise I wouldn't be bothered to post or even be here in the first place. And devs did an amazing game so far. Not ideal but fun enough to keep me ripping xenos in half all this time and it doesn't get old (at least for me it is still fun).

BUT! I also see the perks on weapons (hello buff for 5 seconds with cooldown on 3 long warp jumps), I see perks on some classes (yeah, even more disconnected things on some classes would be hard to imagine), how perks just won't synergize with each other (plasma weapons for example). I remember their first attempt on harder difficulty and gladly they met some pushback. The balance on most weapons. I'm well aware of PvP balance (and how cancerous plasma weapons and shock nades are).

Keeping all that in mind and seeing the news about another difficulty I'm right now pretty pessimistic that it will miss the spot. I'm aware that there are some words that weapons perks is coming (yet to see the source), that class perks rework is on the horizon and hopefully even more re-balancing of weapons but as of right now and the track records of previous misses I just can't make myself anticipate good things. I wish to get proven wrong, but will I?

In my opinion it would be wiser to do one change at a time and see the dynamics. But I'm not a dev and it is not up to me to decide. I just wish all good to the game and devs and hopefully they are not as disconnected as I'm afraid they might be.

Thank you. Is there a chance to pass a request to NOT make a new difficulty in just bullet sponges with less ammo but something more engaging? Enemies are spongy enough on lethal. Or at least to give another weapon tier.
