Why even bother promoting and acting like this community event is something new and exciting when it's only a 25% increase, which is barely anything. You could have just done Double XP, the event is only for a few days and the XP grind is already extreme enough in this game. Every time there is a community event, be it issues with PROS Rewards or giving us scraps in terms of what the even actually is with such a minimal boost, they are extremely disappointing.

I agree with this as well. Imagine if instead of this, we got a 50% XP boost when the update launched to kick off prestige stuff. Seems like poor timing and reward for player investment

I understand your point of view and I share it in part, but you have to think that if these events do not benefit you, it is because you have all the characters/weapons at the maximum level., but there are even more players who are just starting out or who have only been playing for a short time. Do we really want to have such an easy time raising prestige? I don't.

The devs have all the hidden data we don't, they know how many people haven't maxed out and how many people are just starting. Don't forget, we did just have a big Steam sale so for all we know there's been a bunch of new players and they're trying to make them feel welcome by helping them make some progress as they get used to the game.

To address some of the comments- these events do benefit me, I am not fully maxed on all classes yet- I am saying it should be more substantial than 25% if it is going to be branded as a big community event

I think events like these will probably become more common place with the advent of the prestige system, as people with be resetting their progress often to get the perks offered for doing so. Granted, the XP percentage offered may change, hopefully increase, depending on how many times you have prestige each class.

Lol, that's me. I have maxed out only about half the content so far. Time to catch up!

Funny here we have people complaining about extra xp and on steam there are threads with people complaining about leveling the game being too much of a grind.

I never listen to steam forums. The complaints here are less that the extra exp is a thing and more a "this does nothing for so many people and they missed the window to make the most out of it by giving players that picked the game up on sale an exp even to get them caught up before they decide the grind is too much and quit."
