Some years ago before Space Marine 2 ws announced I made a little video about Titus possible true connection with the honor company. Backed up with actual sources about what and who are the honor company of ultramarines. Basically it is a company formed of space marines from different ultramarine chapters, think about it like "Guilliman CON" this would mean that sometimes battle brothers or officers would have conflicting ideas or beliefs despite all having the same geneseed. And also why Titus and Leandros had a clashing view "most likely both where from different ultramarine chapters"

While there is a Nyck Kyme novel that shows Titus was a hero of the company or chapter, I believe that it doesnt necesarily mean that Titus was a predecesor of Sicarius but definitely was a hero of the company at some point before being shipped to the honor company.
