Being the game host (squad leader) does not make you their supervisor and does not make them your subordinates.

you are correct, host is more than some supervisor. host is the OWNER of the lobby. call the rest subordinates or not, but they are not host's equal. how stupid is it that they can kick the host?

What would be stupid is only allowing the host to kick people.

Your "solution" isnt a solution to any problem and its certainly not intelligent. Lets go with a few examples.

What if the host is abusive and intentionally trying to ruin the run for the other two people? They have to quit while the host gets the benefit of the progress so far?

What if the host refuses to kick someone else who is intentionally being abusive or sabotaging the group?

What happens if the host decides to go afk for tacos or something during the run?

There's a valid reason why anyone can initiate a kick.

my "solution" solves the problem of the lobby owner having no authority over their own lobby, and it indeed is the most intelligent solution comparatively to all other possible alternatives.

it's the lobby's owner that defines lobby's intended use, and therefore the host cannot abuse it. if they don't like the lobby's intended use then yes, they have to leave and lose all of their progression, because they are not host's equals. if the host's afk then go to a different lobby.

Your "problem" doesn't exist. Unless one has some sort of weird superiority fetish about hosting.

it does exist, and if you think, it has nothing to do with any fetish, and everything to do with lobby ownership
