DEVs need to review and study SPACE MARINES I

to take notes why the game succeeded with the amount of PvP players , SIZE and LAYOUT of MAPS,

HP health and shied deterioration, weapon ACCURACY and POWER, melee combat ( players should NOT be able to jump out of a mid melee combo & should die for penalty for being close range of enemy. The melee system is like a slow special needs kid that is soo slow it looks like your playing in slow motion🙄

95% of the weapons need to be re-evaluated and adjusted properly, whoever’s was i. charge of this needs a new job.

✨10 years this game even with delays to make this game right, ✨there no real excuse why there is a MAJOR network issues and the lack of more PvP players , the ORIGINAL SPACE MARINES IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE, maybe DEVs should hire the OG DEVs.

Lack of MP MAPS to is soo unbelievable in this modern gaming days with 4k systems there is no excuse or reason why GAMERs Request cannot be met.

HOPEFULLY, this next patch does NOT make it WORSE, since the MAJOR ISSUES

are #1 NETWORK ISSUES, WEAPON BALANCING, LACK OF PvP MAPS, 😂 even the lack of a 8v8 or 10v10  capabilities 😂the ORIGINAL HAD TONS OF MAPS AND MORE PVP PLAYERS.

Well anyways just saying what the MAJORITY GAMERS are complaining about, I would have like to be offered a refund if the merchandise is Not as advertised. or at least FREE MAPS AND COSMETICS to STALL for PROBLEMS with game.

The weapons are all fairly balanced, imo. 


I can think of one weapon that needs its spread lowered. All weapons need their spread lowered of you're making the maps bigger... 


Stalker, Oculus (the 3 round burst), snipers, and plasma are the things that don't have to be within 20m to reliably kill things.

Melee lock should happen. Many times I had issues when my character went with jump attack for the enemy (when you melee while sprinting) and then the rest of combo went entirely different way straight into thin air. Melee combat is crude and not responsive.


PvP in its current form basically should be what arena offer while waiting for real match in matchmaking. In current state it's just a poor demo version of Eternal Crusade but with no vehicles, 3 small "arena" maps, 2 factions (one incustomizable xD), no balance and less mechanics. Eternal Crusade  was F2P (ok it had its reasons and it became F2P after a while)

I will always be against any type of artificial game play mechanics like melee lock because imo they are simply not fair. One player, class gets the advantage over another by nerfing the opponent. Besides, how is a heavy class supposed to even defend themselves in melee when they don't even have melee weapons ??? this is a death sentence for them. It's a stupid and artificial mechanics. I just don't get it, I see so many assaulters doing so well, scoring so many kills, being almost impossible to hit because of their mobility and yet some of you want a melee lock ??? How about you just get gud ?




edit - and don't start me on Eternal Crusade, I played it right from the start, early beta. This game was one big lie, the devs promised a persistent battlefield world, pico servers with hundreds of players fighting a battle, terminator class, and 10 years of continuous development - that never happened, these were only lies. At least Focus devs don't create false hype and don't lie to the player base, SM2 is what it is - a nice looking arena shooter. You must have forgotten what EC looked like, - like a crap in comparison to SM, the only better thing was more maps in pvp and bigger maps - this is actually something we could have in SM2.

Well we have already aiming assistance with 2 stages on PS5 :)

I'm not talking about lies and disappointment, they happened and i won't ever deny them. I'm talking only about what they finally delivered not the persistent world and other things you mentioned. Honestly i have no clue why you are talking about devs characteristics. 

The fact that they lied and what not they promised does not indicate that you couldn't ever take inspiration for patterns finally utilized in the game. 
Just because someone is shit as person, doesn't mean he must be a poor writer.

I'm not talking about graphics either (if by that you mean that EC looked like crap - well it's far older game). Ofc SM2 has better graphics, animation blood etc. which i have praised already many times. 


I only mean final product on technical matter. Gameplay and mechanics which I actually enjoyed until the very shutdown. 

You have summarized response with "the only better thing was more maps in pvp and bigger maps - this is actually something we could have in SM2.". Honestly this + vehicles + orks/eldars and I would totally agree :D
